On the way you will pass the fishermen village of Praiano, with its church dedicated to San Gennaro, bishop of Benevento who was martyred in the fourth century under the reign of Diocletian. The building, with a beautiful polychrome majolica dome, was built in the sixteenth century on the ruins of an earlier church of the same name. Praiano is famous also for a picturesque Christmas crib built in a cave that you will see. Along the drive passing watch towers, natural beauties and villas, before approaching Amalfi, you will pass the fijord of Furore, a tiny fishing village that was inhabited, among others, by Roberto Rossellini (who shot the film Love) and Anna Magnani, who was romantically linked to him. The payment is kindly made in cash to the driver at the end of each service, if you wish to pay by cc (Visa or Master card) a 6% of surcharge is added.
